A lifelong resident of Syracuse, Jeff D. DeFrancisco, graduated from St. John Fisher College in Rochester with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business finance and economics. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Syracuse University. Mr. DeFrancisco's legal background includes working at the Onondaga County District Attorney's office and at Harris Beach LLP where he concentrated in medical malpractice and personal injury before entering private practice. Mr. DeFrancisco was a common councilor for the City of Syracuse for four years.  

Mr. DeFrancisco focuses his practice in the field of medical malpractice, serious personal injury and wrongful death. He has experience in a broad range of medical malpractice cases including, but not limited to, emergency room negligence, birth injuries, surgical negligence, failure to diagnose cancer, failing to adequately inform patients, nursing negligence, and failing to timely order or make a referral for appropriate diagnostic tests. He also handles other personal injury cases such as automobile accidents and products liability matters.

Mr. DeFrancisco is very familiar with many different serious personal injuries including reflex sympathetic dystrophy (RSD) and complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), injuries to children, cerebral palsy, cardiovascular disease, strokes and other brain injuries, and the effects of cancer; among many other serious injuries. Mr. DeFrancisco uses economists, life care planners and vocational experts to determine and prove economic losses.
